Project concept and design are an integral part of Atelier Monts & Merveilles’s services, from simple furniture to complete interior design, using specialized software. Atelier Monts & Merveilles can also provide project management, linking up the various collaborating craftsmen from all trades.
The workshop is located in a stunning setting at the foot of the Serre-Chevalier ski slopes, where projects for local and national clients are designed and built. The 400m2-building can accommodate projects of all sizes.
Atelier Monts & Merveilles uses cutting-edge digital machinery to produce all types of projects, from the simplest to the most elaborate. Most of the craftsmen at Atelier Monts & Merveilles are Compagnons Cabinet-makers whose dedicated expertise makes their projects outstanding.
The workshop was set up in 2012 by Clément Goudet, a cabinet-maker trained by the prestigious Compagnons du Devoirs. Located in the heart of the Alps, Atelier Monts & Merveilles provides its local and national clients with custom projects, for interiors mixing raw timber and unique contemporary furniture.
As a Compagnon cabinet-maker, Clément Goudet has gained experience in France, in the United States and in Australia, and has also worked on design and project-conception for an Architect’s office in Paris. He then decided to set up his own workshop in a stunning setting, in the heart of the Ecrins National Park. There, he designs, creates and builds unique pieces for local chalets but also city apartments.

With his team of Compagnon craftsmen trained in France and abroad, he now specializes in project management, providing his clients with the conception of their interior from the first outlines to the management of their project. Besides, Atelier Monts & Merveilles works in close collaboration with other cabinet-makers and craftsmen from other trades.
Atelier Monts & Merveilles’s work is characterised by close attention to detail, as well as the quality and variety of materials used – raw timber, textured precious wood veneer, innovative materials, lacquer, varnish, textile, composite material – which bring high-end aesthetics and standards, while retaining a certain simplicity.
