Monts et Merveilles was set up in 2012 by Clément Goudet, a cabinet-maker trained by the prestigious Compagnons du Devoir. Today, Monts et Merveilles provides its local, national and international clients with custom projects for their interiors, mixing raw timber and unique contemporary furniture. The interior design projects are ready-to-use thanks to the interior architecture Studio and the Boutique, which complete the cabinet-making. As a Compagnon cabinet-maker, Clément Goudet has gained experience in France, in the United States and in Australia, and has also worked on design and project-conception for an Architect’s office in Paris. He then decided to set up his own workshop in a stunning setting, to design, create and build unique pieces for local chalets but also city apartments.

Exceptional interiors, combining the comfort of wood with modern and functional furniture, with minimalist design

With a team of interior architects and Compagnon wood-workers trained in France and abroad, Monts et Merveilles now specializes in project management, providing clients with the conception of their interior from the first outlines to ready-to-use delivery, interior decoration included. What’s more, Monts & Merveilles works in close collaboration with craftsmen from all trades.

Monts & Merveilles’s work is characterized by close attention to detail, as well as the quality and variety of materials used – raw timber, textured precious wood veneer, innovative materials, lacquer, varnish, textile, composite materials – which bring high-end aesthetics and standards, while retaining a certain simplicity. All livened up with designer furniture and subtly-picked elements of interior decoration.
Each project managed by Monts & Merveilles, whether for a mountain chalet or city apartment, assures an exceptional interior, combining the comfort of wood with modern and functional furniture with minimalist design.

The Workshop, Studio and Boutique are all under the same roof, so that the ideas that arise from the sketches and 3Ds in the Studio are brought to life in the Workshop, in a continuity that takes on its full meaning. The offices are part of the showroom so that clients can easily picture their future bespoke interior down to the smallest detail!
