Each piece of furniture and unit was meticulously designed to fit perfectly into the asymmetrical walls of this apartment.

Two apartments were reunited to make this one big enough for a family of nine.

It is composed of three master-bedrooms, and a children’s bedroom with two single beds and one pull-out bed. Each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom.

Each piece of furniture and unit was meticulously designed to fit perfectly into the asymmetrical walls of this apartment.

The wooden cladding boards were oriented to give a modern sense of perspective to each room.

The entrance hall isolates the apartment from the exterior and is a welcoming area before entering the living-spaces. Organizing an entrance-hall is often an issue with small spaces.

The ski room is equipped with hanging cupboards, helmet lockers, hat drawers and a skiboot-dryer.

A small laundry room is hidden behind tall doors that look like a simple wood-cladded wall. The technical zone with built-in electric switch-board was also hidden using the same technique.

The large open kitchen was made-to-measure using the same wood as the wall-cladding for perfect unity. A counter separates the kitchen from the dining-room.

The counters and shiny ceramic backsplash give a touch of elegance and sophistication to the room.

The dinner table takes center stage; it is in solid matte-black tinted oak, specifically made for this project in our workshop.

In the living-room, a glass-wall makes it possible to fully appreciate the landscape and the ballet of skiers.

The high sloping ceilings give great proportions to the room.

Built-in bookshelves are fitted under the staircase and were made of wood and steel, also used for the staircase itself. The second step can be used as an extra seating option for the living-room.

On this level there is also a first suite located in a wing of the apartment, set apart from the living-spaces.

The two master-bedrooms and the children’s room are on the first floor.

Most doors are sliding doors to maximise space and avoid blocking the way.

Each nook is optimized with storage space – cupboards, shelves or drawers.

Every cupboard is equipped with automatic interior led lighting.

In the bathrooms, the basin-counters are all custom-built using burnished wood and ceramic, to integrate with the rest of the apartment, with soft, elegant shades.
